Wedding Inspiration Board Blog #13: Beach Chic

Everyone knows that summer is the season when weddings are often held at the beach.  The water-scape and the cool ocean breeze make for a great setting, and a plus is that you can ease up on your decor because the location can provide more than enough embellishments for your wedding.

I love beach weddings as much as the next die-hard wedding lover, but I absolutely crave weddings that jazz up their beach wedding.  So, I’ve incorporated the sand and the surf into this lovely wedding inspiration board.

Taupe and mint are a match made in wedding heaven.  The soft neutrality of taupe and the delicate boldness of the mint complement one another so well. Each color brings forth vivacity in the other one, and in the end, the duo make for a harmonious color palette.  Taupe can be boring on its own, but when you add a pop of color without going overboard, you’ll see the gorgeous difference. Also, you’ll get more brownie points for putting a modern spin on the colors of the beach!
