Wedding Inspiration Board Blog #11: Spring Carnival
While it may be frigid and blisteringly cold in most parts of the country right now (thanks, winter), spring’s arrival is only a few short weeks away. To tide all of us over, we’re putting images of fun activities and bright colors into our new inspiration board!
Take a glance at our new board and get inspired with the spring carnival. Cotton candies in an array of colors, delectable sweets colored with happy hues, and dashing to each ride to try your luck is the best remedy for the low temperatures.
We know that it’s customary to keep wedding colors to a minimum of two, and three is considered pushing it. Go ahead and break away from the norm and throw in every pastel you can think of. In this board, we’ve paired yellows, pinks, and blues to make this eye candy. Each time I peer at it I just think, “yum.”

So for your wedding or your wedding event, stop by your nearest craft store and buy some soft-colored fabrics or cardstock to DIY your own bunting flag. Find those essential striped popcorn boxes and hand them to your guests with vintage soda bottles. Set up carnival rides and games. Rummage through thrift stores for those idyllic antique cake stands and make the most luscious and tummy-pleasing desserts. And please, go crazy with the sprinkles and icing.
To help you get started, here are our favorite fun and affordable items for your own spring shindig!
