Wedding Inspiration Board Blog #10: Monochromatic Matrimony
Grey is the new black, so forget about having a black and white wedding. This winter, stir it up by throwing in shades of grey (in my eyes, the darker the grey, the better) with a bright, pristine white. The cool tones of the grey paired with the striking white color will give your guests the feel of a winter wedding, while being chic and sophisticated. If you like modern weddings, this color scheme will also suit your “palette”.
On the other hand, if an antiquated wedding is more your style, replace the stark white with a softer, more delicate ivory and add in some vintage pieces. Eggshell-colored peonies, creamy teacups with their synonymous saucers, and an old cake stand with gorgeous lacework and etchings that only the hands of crafters from way back when would do to perfection.
