Wedding Dress Sample Sales
Have you recently watched a celebrity wedding and just fell in love with the bride’s dress? Well, it’s hard to see a wedding gown made by designers such as Vera Wang or Monique Lhullier and not absolutely have to have it for your special day!
Unfortunately, these flattering high-quality dresses also come with a high price tag. So, if you’re planning a wedding on a budget, these designer dresses are most likely out of your price range.
Well, thankfully many bridal shops and salons offer sample sales. During these sales, you can purchase a gorgeous designer wedding dress or gown at a reduced price; usually at approximately 50% off the original retail price.
So, what exactly is a sample dress? A dress or gown can be classified as a sample for a variety of reasons: it has previously been shown on a model at a bridal show or on a mannequin in a showroom, the gown has been discounted by the manufacturer, or the bridal shop has stopped selling that collection.
These sample dresses may need to be dry cleaned or need minor repairs, however, they are typically in great condition. In the long run, it’s worth it. You can get the designer celebrity-like wedding dress of your dreams, at a more realistic price.
In order to take advantage of these sample sales, you have to do your research and be quick to snag a sample sale deal. These sales come and go quickly, as do the gowns. All of the dresses and gowns are on a first come first serve basis. Keep an eye out for these sales in your local papers and stop in, call or sign up for emails/newsletters from your favorite bridal stores.
