Free Bridal Shower Games
When it comes time to plan that special bridal shower for your sister, best friend, or whoever, the excitement and joy can get overshadowed by all of the overwhelming expenses. These expenses can include food, drinks, favors, decorations and much more.
The last thing that you want to spend money on, are bridal shower games to entertain the guests. However, that doesn’t mean that you still can’t have games, as they are fun and a way to keep your guest involved. Just get creative and find some FREE bridal shower games to play.
Here you will find a few of our favorites:
Advice By The Letter
Have fun while providing some wisdom and advice to the bride.
On an index card or piece of paper, write down the bride’s name vertically. Ask each guest to write down a bit of advice for each letter. Ask them to keep the advice short. The words can be simple, funny or even risque. Once the guests are done, collect the cards or paper and ask the bride to read the advice aloud.
EXAMPLE: NICOLE
N: Never go to bed without a kiss
I: If angry, have sex!
C: Chocolate can be fun
O: Only have eyes for each other
L: Live, Love, Laugh
E: Eat out more than cook
Crop The Carrot
Look in your refrigerator for a really long carrot. Have the guests stand up and form a line or a circle. Give the carrot to the bride and have her hold it between her knees, then have her pass it on to another women (knee to knee). Keep passing the carrot from one women to another, between the knees. Every time the carrot falls, cut an inch off to make it shorter. When the carrot becomes to short to cut, and it can no longer be passed, the person who has it wins.
The Discovery Game
This is the perfect game for a bridal shower, as the bride’s family and friends typically sit on one side of the room while the groom’s family and friends sit on the other. This is a fun way for your guests to get to know each other. Before the guests arrive, place a game card at each place setting. The goal is for each guest to find another guest that matches the sentence. The first guest to have all of the names filled in, on each of the lines, wins. It may be helpful, to set a time limit. The person with the most amount of names, when time is up, wins.
Bridal Shower Bingo
This is played just like regular bingo except the squares are filled with household items. Before the guests arrive, place a bingo card at each place setting. When the guests arrive, ask them to fill in each square with a household item they think the bride and groom may have registered for. As the bride opens each gift, have her shout out what the household item is. If the guests have that item written in a square on their bingo card, they cross it off. Once a guest(s) gets all of the squares in a line crossed off, they can yell Bingo. Be sure to let the guests know that a vertical, horizontal or criss-cross can count as Bingo.
