DIY Wedding Flower Ideas

by Nicole Onofrio on August 31, 2011

One of the best ways to save money while wedding planning is to buy and ensemble many items yourself.  Some of the best do-it-yourself wedding projects involve your flowers such as your bridal bouquet, boutonnieres and centerpieces.

If you have the time (and patience) to create your own floral arrangements, we suggest that you do so.  All you have to do, to get started, is to shop around online to find the finest quality flowers at the lowest prices possible.  By finding a deal, buying from a wholesaler and buying in bulk, you will save hundreds of dollars on your wedding flowers.

Once you find a reputable wholesaler, start picking out your flower selections.  Some of the most popular wedding flowers include roses, lilies, carnations, hydrangeas, daisies, and greens such as bear grass.

To get your creative juices flowing, our friends at Blooms by the Box have shared some of their client’s favorite wedding arrangements.
