Back to the Bridal Shop for the Bridesmaids

This is a quick tip today, but a good one…
When it comes time to find your bridesmaids dresses, your first stop should be the shop where you bought your wedding dress. After purchasing your wedding dress, many shops will give your bridesmaids a 10-20% discount off of their dresses, depending on how much your dress was and/or how many bridesmaids you have.
Make sure to keep that in mind when you are dress shopping for yourself. Take a quick look at the bridesmaids dresses, to see if there is something that you and/your girls may like. If so, you may be able to save your bridesmaids some money. It’s expensive to be in a wedding, as you may know, so I’m sure they would appreciate the savings.
DON’T STOP THERE…In this economy, many wedding dress shops are willing to work out any deal. When negotiating the cost of your bridesmaids dresses, also try negotiating discounts for your veil, tuxes, mother-of-the bride and groom dresses, and even shoes or accessories if the shop carries those items as well.
Having a large number of bridesmaids can really help in the negotiating process. Does anyone out there have (or have had) a crazy amount of bridesmaids? Let us know below!
